achievement day/last training 2013 today!
time is honestly flying by far too fast - seriously, i can remember achievement day in part b year as if it were just yesterday (and i timed throughout the whole thing!! yay) and it's been 2 years already.
holy shit man???
also last training today really really made me think and realise how much part as actually mean to me.
been too dense and i feel like i didn't fully appreciate them :-(
they're such a lovely, sweet, sick bunch; it really reminds me of how we were back then :-)
(lovely innocent overwhelmed part as 2010)
it is very heartening seeing how much they have grown over the past 8 months.
and in retrospect, we've also grown too - just not in ways not as discernible nor expected.
i'd like to think that it's all thanks to G B J, that they got lucky in getting us as NCOs ;-)
but who am i kidding, we're the lucky ones who got them as our part, who learnt more than we ever taught and showed us more than we ever knew.
