we're moving into week 4 of the june hols now, and how much work have i done?

nothing

but on the other hand, i've had a hell lot of fun :)

went to macau+shenzhen+hk (yes i'm halfway to being a globetrotter hoho) with my cousins in the first week of june, but since i don't have the pictures yet that's a blog post for later :)

it was fun and i went into a casino!!! and the food was delicious oh dear i would revoke my singaporean citizenship to move to macau for the portuguese egg tarts ok

and then 18-21 jun: ss trip!!!!
this post is gonna be documenting my memories of the trip, so do stop reading here if you don't want to be bombarded with images of my face.
ha kidding who doesn't want to be?!??!?!
anyway the trip wouldn't have been that memorable without my 415 + vanessa buddies!
okay so first day: went to village penghulu to "experience rural culture". the place was really commercialized though, so it probably wasn't how a real farm should be. but the people were super hospitable and the food was great too! especially the ondeh ondeh so, yeah, no complaints there 8)

                                                                                                        after lunch!
we made a pact hahha "eh go back everyone put as facebook cover photo ah"
dinner after that was a buffet at some hotel. yummy buffet + hungry people = foodgasm!
stayed @ the equatorial that night w my roomies clarissa and jasmine ahhahaha. the hotel was quite good! big and the channels were great! loads better than the next one.
anyway we didn't sleep much haha cos after we were done with washing up and stuff we went down to jingen's room and partied till dawn!!!!
ha ok not till dawn but you get my picture.
oh and also jasmine clarissa and i got scared by this hugeass desk chair, and in the dark the chair was this big black silhouette which looked like a figure staring at us from the foyer and we got damn freaked out! so we tried stuffing the chair in the cupboard BUT IT WAS TOO BLOODY SMALL then we decided to push it to the bathroom but it would be kinda creepy if you need to take a leak at night and you see the Big Black Chair staring at you. so we were kinda in a dilemma and to make things better someone wanted to drape some towels on the chair
so it became a big white figure which didn't exactly solve matters.
so in the end we pushed it out of the room, where it remained in the hotel corridor for the rest of the night (thank goodness. "you know what's the scariest thing which could happen now that the chair's gone?" "what?" "if we wake up at night and find it back in the room next to your bed" "wtf shut up jasmine that's enough")

wow typing blog posts are tiring i think i'll shut up now and let pictures do the talking

day 2:
- good breakfast, buffet style!
- malacca tour, visited st paul's church (quite cool since i visited ruins of st paul's cathedral in macau too) where the guide told us an eerily fascinating story about saint francis xavier. and we saw the statue itself.

view from the church was beautiful! and there were 2 adorable cats hehe

- jonker street activity after that which was kinda boring bec the sun was blistering hot. escaped to some cafe with FREE WIFI and slacked there and managed to reach the end point first ;)
- chicken rice balls! delish but i kind of suck at making them. oh well. i don't suck at swallowing though :)

- presentations of jonker street activity then dinner! + river cruise where we waved at random passers-by haha it was fun.
river cruise! do you know how hard it was to get a photo without jasmine in it ahhaha
- went back to hotel, partied in jingen's room, went back up at 1 and pushed the chair out again before sleeping.

day 3:
- dialogue with high commission of singapore! it was quite enlightening having such important people speak to us, and to hear their views on the current politics scene. well fun but kinda boring haha. refreshments was good though.
- lunch was at some restaurant, quite high class! we played the peanut jasmine game (where anyone who talked to her increased in peanut level and the objective of the game is to try and keep your peanut level as low as possible) because she was being annoying :( and i lost :( stupid jasmine she pulled out the b card in front of shizhi who was sitting with us cos the teachers had no table ha ha ha losers but anyway now he thinks i have a boyfriend URGH
- then kl tour! haha went to kl gallery AND FREE WIFI!!!!!!!!!! hahaha everyone was so pissed cos they suddenly decided to leave their phones on the bus and they missed out on the free wifi :P and we skipped twin towers tour cos it was boring ha.
- dinner and shopping at midvalley shopping mall! like normal shopping i guess but we camwhored quite a lot at forever 21 haha.
- partied at jingen's room (again!) but we went up quite early at around 12???
- the hotel here was HORRIBLE it was creepy and gave off a hostile aura and stupid jasmine had to tell us about the knocking thing at night :( rachel and i couldnt sleep so we decided to bunk with thengyi and val - thank goodness for them haha.

day 4:
- sri aman visit! the girls there damn cute and nice and hospitable and friendly and PRETTY! we witnessed the head prefect candidates campaigning and giving her speech ahaha it was so unlike those in rg! it was more like a rally for them; much more fun haha. and she was damn chio la then we took a photo with her haha got singapore endorsement some more!!!!!! the girls there are really good in english too and they have this cooperative thing, where they run their own bookshop. like seriously RUN it ie in charge of restocking, accounting, the cash register etc. like if we took over popular bookshop in our school haha.
- then we visited putrajaya!!! took loads of photos and we had lots of fun playing @ the playground haha.
FAVE PHOTO!!!

nice backdrop at putrajaya :)
- headed back to sg after that :( long journey, slept a lot, drooled on shirt a bit. managed to pass 3 episodes of angry birds (aw yeah)
- we were a bit disappointed that we couldnt experience the 400+ psi in singapore (sigh) but oh well.
- finally gave us the wifi password for the bus............................... on the last day of the trip.

anyway, so so glad that i went on the trip with my classmates. they're a lovely bunch of people - jingen valerie thengyi thamim clarissa rachel jasmine vanessa, and the new friends i made on the trip - who were what made this trip so awesome :')

now it's back to mundaneness at home waiting for school to reopen and studying because holy shit have you seen the exam schedule? no? i haven't either actually but it seems horrible
