Went to USS with sexy birdie mofos yesterday! It was my first time there haha. Thanks to Liyin whose mum sold the tickets to us at $30 (-: So glad that my first trip there was with my friends haha so I could fully experience the rides.
It was rather awesome (Y) though our initial enthusiasm and excitement kinda dampened the mood later.
Anyway, we headed to the Transformers ride at first. IT WAS BRILLIANT!!!!!! The ride was kinda like a 4D motion simulator, with awesome sound and visual effects. It was super realistic. Guess this ride marks a new milestone in the history of amusement park rides, because it really employs the use of technology to create a whole new experience, much different from the traditional roller coasters etc - less intense on the heart but no less exciting. It's so hard to fully, coherently explain its awesomeness so I shall just urge you to just experience it for yourself (-: The power of technology is really amazing!
Next we went on the Revenge of the Mummy coaster! It was good as well, but the coaster was really short )-: Stupid Nai and Angelia made me sit at the side cos they didn't dare D< Got a huge shock when mummies suddenly popped up and sprayed water at us. With the animatronics and theme decorations + the fact that it was set in partial darkness, the mood set was rather eerie and we were super creeped even before we sat on the roller coaster hahaha.
Went to explore the lost world and far far away sections after that. Nothing exciting, though the decorations were really really good! Love the gay theme park atmosphere. The music was really nice and epic (especially the one at the battlestar!) too.

THEN WE WENT ON THE BATTLESTAR!!!!!!
It was epic awesome. Was too worried at first cos I was quite full from lunch and didn't want to puke and because IT LOOKS SO FREAKING SCARY!!! BUT IT WAS REALLY GOOD. The red one looks much more tame cos it's the traditional seated steel coaster but its faster and has higher gs. The blue one, Cylon, is a suspended steel coaster and it's much better than Human! The fact that you're suspended doesn't really make a difference when you're on the ride. It has a few stunts, mainly a loop, barrell roll, and zero g roll. It was really really fun. Was freaking out at the docking platform and started screaming when the train accelerated during the climb. The first drop was horrible for Human D: . Wasn't too bad for Cylon although Cylon's looked worse. Almost left the park without going on it, SO GLAD HUIMIN AND ANGELIA (those 2 brave girl girls who took it 10 times!) CONVINCED ME AND NAI TO GO ON! Totally gonna ride on it again if I ever visit USS :') Hope that I have the balls to do so though ahaha. Yesterday was really awesome, although personally I feel that the $60 over tickets to USS is a ripoff. The theme park is small, although some of the rides are make up for it. Def a must go for Singaporeans, but not worth it to go more than once haha. Though I'm seriously regretting not riding on battlestar again sigh..... comforting myself watching videos of roller coasters on YouTube and playing RCT2 8-) (my childhood!)
