If you really love someone, you would want the best and work to achieve it for that person.
Sure, there may be different methods - scoldings, harsh words, gentle nagging, annoying nagging, persuasion - but at the end of the day, the goals are similar: to get the best for/out of them, be it tough love or not.
But the way they show their 'love', we really can't tell.
Sarcasm, scrutinising
every single thing we do trying to look for mistakes, jumping to the worst conclusions every time something bad happens.. etc etc.
We get it, we are supposed to show good standards in order to set a good example and befit our title, but really, enough is enough. There comes a point when their scoldings are just empty words laced with biting sarcasm; there's no real point to them anymore. What for listen, when all you know you're going to get is yet more harsh words and (at times unreasonable)scoldings? There comes a point when we can't take it any more and snap back in their faces (ha ha i wish).
We know what's good for us, and what they're doing
is not.
If they truly love us as they claim to do so, then they would take our words to heart. If not then I guess I really can't wait for July/August to come.
ps. look steph i published it for you!!!
